In a major expansion spree, Fortune Hotels is aiming to launch 9–11 hotels in FY 2023-2024. “We have just opened a new hotel in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, and earlier in the year, we opened in Kufri, Himachal Pradesh and Katra, J&K. In the next three years, we are looking for a 50:50 balance of business and leisure hotels. We aim to open 9–11 hotels this financial year,” Dhananjay Saliankar, Head, Sales & Marketing, Fortune Hotels & Welcomheritage.
Saliankar further mentioned, “Fortune hotels has been focused on an aggressive expansion all over India both in terms of new services and properties. We have a good understanding of the mid-scale to the upscale segment and the ability to bring in knowledge in terms of providing exceptional services to our guests and other infrastructure support, to drive better value to our owners who operate properties with us.”
