Thomas Cook sees 10% demand increase for hospitality sector

Thomas Cook India expects strong growth in the hospitality sector in India over the medium to long term. Madhavan Menon, Executive Chairman, Thomas Cook India, said, “Long-term demand is expected to grow over 10 per cent, driven by a 20 per cent annual increase in domestic tourism. Key leisure markets are projected to grow at 13 per cent. The steady rise in economic activity due to the country’s economic growth is also boosting the corporate travel business.”
