As per HVS Anarock’s Hotels & Hospitality Overview, June 2024, Kochi emerged as the standout performer, registering the highest increase in occupancy rate in June 2024. The city’s occupancy grew by 7 percentage points year-on-year (Y-o-Y), marking a significant rise compared to other cities. The report also revealed the nationwide occupancy rates for hotels which remained flat both in June and on a year-on-year basis. However, individual city performances varied significantly, with some regions showing notable growth and others facing challenges.
