The 36th edition of AAHAR 2021 has been rescheduled by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) to August-September 2021. The rescheduling was done due to the recent rise in Covid-19 cases across India and the travel restrictions imposed by some states for containment of Covid-19 cases. ITOP announced this in an official communiqué here and informed that the new dates of Aahar 2021 will be announced shortly.
The ITPO issued a notice in this regards saying, “It is hereby informed that the 36th edition of Aahar – The International Food and Hospitality Fair scheduled to be held from April 6 to 10, 2021 has been rescheduled to third week of August due to the recent rise in Covid-19 cases pan India and the travel restrictions imposed by few States for containment of Covid cases. The new dates of Aahar ’21 will be announced shortly. ITPO thanks all the exhibitors who confirmed their participation and Associations for their continued support to Aahar.”
Previously, the event was rescheduled from March to April due to a similar Covid pandemic condition. ITPO has placed Covid protocols in preparations and operations of the event with around 50000 sq meters of space for the same.
Over 600 participants from India and overseas including foreign participation from Afghanistan, Austria, Kyrgyzstan, Canada, Peru, UK and USA have confirmed their participation.
