India’s hotel sector achieves 67.5% occupancy

According to the 27th edition of the Indian Hospitality Trends & Opportunities Report released by Hotelivate, the branded and organised hotel sector in India achieved a nationwide occupancy rate of 67.5 per cent in 2023-2024, marking the highest level in a decade. Additionally, the average daily rate reached ₹8,055, the highest recorded to date. The cities of Mumbai, New Delhi, and Hyderabad reported the highest occupancy rates, while five-star deluxe hotels experienced a remarkable 147.4 per cent increase in revenue per available room.
