IHCL to operate Cochin Airport’s five-star hotel

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) will manage Cochin International Airport’s (CIAL) five-star hotel with a projected investment of ₹1 billion. IHCL will get a percentage of the gross revenue generated by its partnership with CIAL.
S Suhas, Managing Director, CIAL said, “We are excited about this collaboration. We hope that this collaboration will spur our plan to increase revenue from non-aero verticals because the Taj Group is one of the world’s most renowned luxury hotel operators. With the introduction of a new fleet of aircraft by Tata-owned Air India, CIAL anticipates exponential growth in air traffic movement.”
