HRAWI calls for conducive framework for hospitality sector HRAWI has stated that “new government should create a conducive regulatory framework, grant infrastructure status to hospitality sector, and provide incentives to support growth in the industry. “The industry needs a favourable GST regime and Ease of Doing Business measures to welcome 100 million international tourists by 2047. HRAWI advocates for uniform GST rates for all restaurants and de-linking GST rates from room charges to promote fair competition. The new government must streamline regulatory processes, simplify licence procurement, reduce bureaucracy, and clarify regulations to promote growth and innovation,” Pradeep Shetty, President, HRAWI, said.
