Hotels see 2-4 pp occupancy growth in June, reaching 61-63%

HVS Anarock MONITOR states that occupancy stood at 61 to 63 per cent in June with two to four percentage points increase from May this year. The occupancy trends in June displayed mixed performance across Indian markets, with overall marginal year-on-year improvement at the national level. However, regional disparities remained evident, driven by geopolitical uncertainty, early monsoon impact, and shifting travel patterns. Chennai led the country in occupancy in June 2025, closely followed by Mumbai, with both cities clocking rates in the 73 to 76 per cent range. Jaipur and Ahmedabad, meanwhile, posted the strongest year-on-year gains.
