The hospitality placements at IHM Pusa surged from 20 per cent to 49 per cent this year. Kamal Kant Pant, Principal & Secretary, IHM Pusa, said “Since 2020, only 20 per cent of our students were entering core hospitality roles in hotels or quick-service restaurants. Nearly 75 per cent of the rest were moving towards retail, e-commerce or consulting. This year marks a turning point.” He credited the surge to industry’s attractive opportunities that were being extended. He added, “49 per cent of our students are now stepping directly into core hospitality careers.”
