Hospitality investments in India to surpass US$2.3 bn

India’s hospitality industry is expected to see investments surpass US$2.3 billion over the next two to five years, according to a report by CBRE South Asia. The sector is expected to see over US$400 million in investment during 2020-23, with the addition of around 12,000 rooms in 2023 and a compound annual growth rate of 3.3 per cent by 2025. The report also predicts that demand recovery will outpace supply, benefiting key performance metrics such as occupancy rate and revenue per available room.
