Renovations at Heritage Village Resorts and Spa, Manesar
Heritage Village Resort and Spa, Manesar, which has been a serene retreat for guests since its inception in 1995, has undergone extensive renovations to enhance its offerings and elevate the guest experience. Over the course of two seasons, from May 2023 to September 2024, the resort has embarked on a comprehensive overhaul of several key areas, bringing modern sophistication while retaining its signature traditional charm.
Upon arriving at the resort, the majestic entrance springs into view, hinting at the architectural splendour awaiting those who venture inside. The resort’s architect has referred to it metaphorically as “The Indian Bride;” a sentiment that perfectly encapsulates the beauty and grandeur that gradually unfolds as guests cross the threshold.
Stepping into the expansive lobby, one is immediately enveloped in a sense of luxury and opulence. The intricate architectural details, reminiscent of regal Havelis, set an inviting tone for the royal escape ahead.
The renovations span multiple spaces, including the Sabha Banquet Hall pre-function area, inner porch, main lobby, and reception desk. The Resort’s renowned Utsav Banquet Hall has been redesigned along the lines of the traditional interiors of a patrician Haveli house – complete with a pre function area with genteel shades of yellow ochre, further embellished in floral patterns of red and lapis blue framed by golden leaf Chitrakari designs.
The Suvarna Mahal and Mama Miso restaurants have been created anew and bring a lot of culinary style and flair to the dining experience. The Resort has created a new event space named as the Baradari Pavilion. The name takes after the 12 Pavilion arches framed by Saracenic style cupolas and cusped arches. The setting of the honey hued sandstone pavilions set amidst verdant green lawns is simply a sight to behold.
The Resort also now boasts of a state-of-the-art swimming pool area with surface flow design and blue lapis lazuli-coloured tiles and backed behind the scenes by modern technology. As the evening fades and the sunsets, the lights come on impart a blue emerald glow to the pool.
Additionally, 80 rooms have been comprehensively renovated, along with the extensive landscaping of the gardens.
