Pushpendra Bansal, Chief Operating Officer of Lords Hotels and Resorts says “A focus on guest safety, flexible policies, digitisation and product innovation will help contribute to a positive guest experience that will win loyal guests and maximise occupancy and revenue in a post COVID-19 World. Hotel occupancy levels are bouncing back slowly as travel restrictions lift around the country. To maximise occupancy and revenue we have adopted stricter health and safety measures and increased sustainability. Our group has reshaped the way services and amenities are offered and also have aligned with the changes in guest expectations. Deep cleaning of bedroom and bathroom after the guest checks out and allotting it to another guest post 48 hours is followed regularly. There is also extra disinfection of the most frequently touched guests room areas, including light switches, door handles, TV remotes and thermostats. Contactless check in, single use glass ware and silverware along with Mobile and self-service technologies to help personalise guest stay are implemented. Our safe stay initiative ‘Karona Safe Rahona Safe’ is based on the guidelines of WHO, FSSAI and MOHFW. The enhanced protocols include social distancing, contactless check in, sanitisation, in room dining, thermal screening of guest to mention a few. The Covid-19 crisis will pass, just like ones that came before it, and we will serve our guests, just like we have been doing so far.”
