With the opening of 158-keys Courtyard by Marriott Aravali resort in Faridabad, Haryana, Marriott International now has 131 hotels and resorts under its umbrella in India. This opening also marks the foray of pharmaceutical major Mankind Pharma into hospitality business sector. Counting on its location, the hotel eyes a big share in the leisure and wedding segment of Delhi-NCR. “There’s a big population in the mid-range, which wants an affordable resort experience and Courtyard Resorts offer great value for money,” says Arun Kumar, Market Vice President, Marriott International. Spread across eight acres, the resort boasts of some unique features like family rooms with bunk beds for kids, multi-tier swimming pool, more than 21,000 sq.ft of banquet space and an awe-inspiring 360-degree walking trail.
