Chalet Hotels is set to acquire Mahananda Spa and Resorts, owner of the Westin Resort & Spa, Himalayas in Rishikesh. The deal is approved by Chalet’s board of directors and is valued at ₹ 530 crore. This acquisition adds a 141-room luxury resort to Chalet Hotels’ growing portfolio. The Westin Resort & Spa, Himalayas is a well-established property, and this acquisition will allow Chalet to capitalise on the thriving luxury travel market in Rishikesh.
