IHCL has signed a greenfield project to build a Taj branded hotel in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka. The 160-key Taj Chikkamagaluru is spread across 25 acres and will offer a range of services, including an all-day-dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a bar, and a poolside bar. It will also feature two swimming pools, a fitness center, J Wellness Circle spa, a kids’ club, and a library. “With its lush rainforests, coffee estates, and easy access from key cities, Chikkamagaluru can be positioned as a world-class destination, aligning with IHCL’s strategy of putting India’s lesser-known leisure locations on the global tourism map,” Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President, Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said.
