Residence de l’Evėché, CGH Earth has opened its doors. With origins tracing back to the1790s, the meticulously restored single-key private villa ensures to transport guests to the enchanting era of French heritage in the region. “Our aim is to showcase Pondicherry’s rich heritage from a more personal space for our guests. We carefully chose this villa for its location and fascinating history – it is located on a street that once housed the archbishop’s home. The house had several owners, one of them being the prominent Goubert Family after whom the popular Goubert Market is named,” stated Mridula Jose, Vice President, Product Development and Marketing, CGH Earth that manages and operates Residence de l’Evėché.
