With the summers on its last few days, and the excitement of vacations fading away to school time, Novotel Kochi Infopark, geared up for one great afternoon of cookie making, frosting and fun. The Baking workshop, hosted by the Executive Chef G V Ramesh and co-hosted by the “Little Chef” Kicha, saw a huddle of young hands getting to know the stepping-stones of baking. The day began with chefs taking the kids through the process of cookie dough making, everyone pitching in to kneading dough. Soon enough, everyone had come out of their comfort zones, clearing their doubts with the chefs, and mingling with other kids. “Cooking has always been my passion,” says Kicha, as he rolls over a small cookie dough ball over crumbled flakes. Kicha had ventured into kitchen, when he was just over three and a half years, and has not stopped ever since. Today, ever so humble and charming, he is the youngest Indian to be featured on the Ellen Show, a passionate little chef and a recognized youtuber.
