Vimal Verma has been appointed as the hotel’s Director of Operations of JW Marriott Pune. In his new role, he will be in-charge of ensuring smooth functioning at one of the most luxurious and iconic hotels in the city. A passionate hotelier, Vimal joins the team with close to 15 years of experience in the Hospitality industry. During the course of his career, Vimal has been associated with several upscale hotels in different parts of India. His previous stints as the Director of Operations at Andaz Delhi, Director of Food & Beverage at Andaz Delhi, Hyatt Pune, Park Hyatt Chennai, Conference and Banqueting Manager at Hyatt Regency Delhi, have equipped him with the skills and aptitude to lead diverse and multi-cultural teams in achieving optimum efficiency and delivering top notch guest experiences.
At JW Marriott Pune, Vimal will be overseeing all the operational aspects of the hotel and will be responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction.
He is an Executive MBA in Global Management from IIM Calcutta and a graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai. Vimal loves to travel with London being his favourite city. He collects coasters and often travels to the destinations those lists The World’s 50 Best Bars. Being an avid biker, he is often seen embarking on bike rides to different corners of the country.
