Accor initiates ‘Welcome Back Programme’

Accor in a strategic partnership with prominent Indian airlines such as Vistara and IndiGo, has introduced ‘Welcome Back Program’. As part of the initiative, Accor is inviting its clients from corporate, leisure, wedding, M&E and TMC segments to showcase the services, hygiene and safety norms followed by its hotels and airline partners during these unique times. Multiple familiarisation trips have already been initiated with Vistara, IndiGo and other airlines to cities like Delhi, Bengaluru, Goa, Kochi, and Jaipur with many more to come.

Spread across 23 destinations in India, Accor hotels across brands are stringently following safety measures under its cleanliness and prevention label, ALLSAFE, ensuring social distancing and wellbeing of guests and employees. All Accor properties are leveraging technology at every step of their hospitality and with these technologies in place, there is a great traction from all segments including MICE. Airline partners as well are making sure that guests fly safe and are following strict company and government guidelines.

Through this initiative, hotels and airlines pledge to enable a seamless and safe service experience for their clients. Accor and airlines’ sales teams mutually identify potential clients from their organization and manage their end-to-end travel. A very detailed itinerary is crafted by the hotels to make sure the guests are well looked after and taken to local sightseeing on one of the days to experience the local culture.

Kerrie Hannaford, VP, Commercial, Accor India and South Asia, said, “Our foremost priority is to bring back confidence in our corporate partners and clients. With this initiative, we are going one-step ahead in our approach and feeling excited to invite our clients to our safe hotel premises. We also plan to have International FAMs as soon as the government allows more relaxation through the air bubble initiative.”
