Summit Hotels enters Sikkim retreat segment with 38-room Pangthang Property 

Summit Hotels & Resorts has entered Sikkim’s retreat hotel segment with the launch of Summit Signature Retreat Pangthang, a 38-room hilltop property near Gangtok offering views of Mount Kanchenjunga. Sumit Mitruka, Founder & Managing Director, Summit Hotels & Resorts, said the opening responds to rising demand for nature-led, destination-focused travel beyond sightseeing. The retreat features wellness facilities, a 5,000 sq ft banquet space for 500+ guests, and strengthens the group’s long-term expansion strategy in the Northeast.
