Expanding its footprint across Northeast India, Polo Hotels & Resorts has signed Polo Hotel Aizawl, marking the brand’s debut in Mizoram. Developed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in collaboration with the Government of Mizoram, the project is set to become the state’s first five-star hotel.
The development will transform the existing Chaltlang Tourist Lodge in Aizawl into a premium hospitality destination. The hotel will feature upscale dining venues, a lounge, a swimming pool, a fitness centre, and banquet and meeting spaces, designed to cater to both leisure and business travellers.
The project is expected to strengthen Aizawl’s tourism infrastructure, generate employment opportunities, and contribute to the state’s broader economic growth and tourism development.
