KTDC cuts room rates by 50% for women travellers

Kerala Tourism Development Corporation is slashing room rents by 50% for female guests to mark International Women’s Day. This massive discount applies to stays between March 5 and March 10, 2026, across a range of high-end and budget properties. To qualify, travellers must secure their bookings by the February 28 deadline. The offer covers premium sites like the Mascot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram, Tea County in Munnar, and Aranya Nivas in Thekkady. Budget-conscious travellers can also use the deal at Periyar House and Ripple Land in Alappuzha.

KTDC officials confirmed the initiative aims to encourage solo and group female travel within the state’s safe tourism ecosystem. Bookings are restricted to the KTDC Central Reservations Centre or direct property walk-ins to prevent third-party markup issues. With the deadline approaching, officials expect a total sell-out at popular hill stations and backwater resorts as women capitalise on these rare half-price tariffs.
