At a time when India’s hospitality and foodservice sectors are expanding both in scale and complexity, platforms that enable structured sourcing and meaningful business engagement are becoming increasingly critical. The launch of the ninth edition of India International Hospitality Expo (IHE) reflects this growing need, positioning itself as a central meeting ground for suppliers and decision-makers across the HORECA ecosystem.
The launch summit for IHE 2026 was held at India Habitat Centre as part of the First Look Evening and Leadership Circle Introduction Event. The gathering brought together senior industry stakeholders, marking the formal beginning of preparations for the upcoming edition.
Launch sets tone for ninth edition
Now in its ninth year, IHE has steadily evolved into a trusted sourcing platform for hotels, resorts, restaurants, cafés, QSRs, and catering businesses. The event focuses on facilitating business engagement, product discovery, and networking opportunities within a structured environment.
Welcoming the dignitaries, Sudeep Sarcar, CEO, India Exposition Mart Limited, said that the presence of industry leaders added depth and credibility to the platform, while reinforcing the importance of a focused business environment like IHE for the hospitality sector. The event also included a felicitation of HORECA leaders, recognising their contribution to the industry’s growth.
Event details and product showcase
IHE 2026 is scheduled to take place from 5 to 8 August 2026 at India Expo Centre and Mart, Delhi NCR. The expo will feature a comprehensive range of product categories, including architecture, interior design and construction; furniture, fixtures and equipment; operating supplies; foodservice and commercial kitchen equipment; HORECA food and beverage supplies; technology and automation; wellness and spa solutions; sustainable hotel supplies; as well as décor, lighting, and tableware.
Designed as a business-first platform, the expo aims to connect exhibitors directly with key decision-makers such as hotel owners, general managers, procurement heads, executive chefs, F&B directors, restaurateurs, café owners, QSR operators, caterers, architects, designers, consultants, developers, and institutional buyers.
New segment to spotlight beverage excellence
A key highlight of the upcoming edition is the introduction of Madhumandapam, a curated segment developed in association with SPIRITZ. The segment will focus on mixology, wine, and alcoholic beverage excellence, creating a dedicated space for premium concepts and specialised industry experiences.
Strong participation expected
IHE 2026 is expected to host over 1,000 exhibiting brands from India and international markets, with participation from more than 16 countries. The event is also projected to attract over 25,000 trade visitors, including more than 500 hosted VIP buyers, fostering a focused environment for business engagement and partnerships.
With a mix of structured B2B interactions, culinary masterclasses, competitions, awards, and knowledge-led sessions, the upcoming edition aims to build on its previous momentum. As the hospitality industry continues to scale, IHE is positioning itself as a strategic marketplace that enables visibility, collaboration, and long-term growth across the HORECA and F&B ecosystem.
