Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a new Gateway resort in South Goa, near Colva Beach, further strengthening its footprint in the state. The greenfield project, to be branded as Gateway Resort Colva Beach Road Goa, will take the brand’s Goa portfolio to 25 hotels.
Spread across 2.9 acres, the resort will feature 175 rooms and cater to leisure travellers, social events, weddings, and corporate gatherings. “Goa continues to be one of India’s most sought-after leisure destinations. With a presence spanning over five decades across our brandscape, the signing of this resort reflects our continued commitment to strengthening our footprint in the state. We are delighted to partner with the Dempo Business House for this project,” said Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President, Real Estate and Development, IHCL.
