The Hospitality Purchasing Managers’ Forum (HPMF) has selected The Leela Gandhinagar to host its Annual Convention & Awards 2027. Scheduled from 28–31 January, the four-day event is expected to bring together 400 hospitality purchasing professionals for conferences, networking sessions, buyer-seller meetings, and industry awards.

The Hospitality Purchasing Managers’ Forum (HPMF) has confirmed The Leela Gandhinagar as the venue for its Annual Convention & Awards 2027, marking the start of preparations for one of the hospitality procurement fraternity’s flagship annual gatherings.

The convention will take place from 28–31 January 2027 at The Leela Gandhinagar and is expected to attract around 400 national and international delegates, according to the event’s operational blueprint.

In a message to members, the organising team said the venue had been officially confirmed following discussions with The Leela Gandhinagar and called on stakeholders to begin preparations to deliver the forum’s largest convention to date.

“We now need to work backwards with meticulous planning and execution to make this the biggest and most memorable HPMF Convention ever.”

The organisers added, “This will require the active involvement, ideas, commitment, and teamwork of each one of you. Together, I’m confident we can create an event that sets a new benchmark for our industry.”

Four-day programme planned

The convention programme includes conference sessions, networking events, buyer-seller meetings, awards, destination experiences, and CSR initiatives spread across four days. Delegates will also participate in knowledge sessions covering procurement technology, AI integration, sustainable sourcing, and hospitality supply chain management.

The itinerary features visits to Dandi Kutir Museum and Akshardham Temple, themed gala dinners celebrating Gujarat’s culture, structured B2B meetings, and the HPMF Awards ceremony, which is scheduled to be held at the Adalaj heritage precinct. The final day will include tree plantation and community outreach activities before delegate departures.

According to the operational blueprint, the event has been designed to accommodate 400 delegates through dedicated transport, registration, logistics, and event management systems, with multiple networking opportunities planned throughout the convention.
