The hotel landscape in Delhi is currently witnessing a “perfect storm” of demand. As the city gears up for the India AI Impact Summit 2026 (19–20 February), an event drawing tech leaders, policy makers, and silicon-valley delegates from across the globe. When coupled with the “Saaya” dates (auspicious wedding dates) falling in the same week, the city’s hotel landscape has transformed into a high-stakes seller’s market. Data from major booking aggregators — MakeMyTrip, Trivago, Google Hotels and more — indicates that five-star properties in New Delhi and Aerocity are seeing a 45-60 per cent increase in room rates compared to the same period last year.
