IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a pact to bring the first Crowne Plaza hotel to Uttarakhand, set to open in April 2028. The hotel, set in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, will offer a blend of premium hospitality and convenience, catering to both leisure and business guests. The hotel will add 110 keys to IHG’s portfolio in the state. Commenting on the announcement, Sudeep Jain, MD, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said, “We are delighted to debut our premium brand, Crowne Plaza, in Dehradun in partnership with IVY Hotels & Resort. The ideal positioning of Crowne Plaza Dehradun Rajpur Road will ensure access to a thriving market encompassing leisure, corporate, SME, and M!CE sectors.”
