IHCL aims to train 1 lakh youth by 2030

IHCL is planning to expand its network of skill training centres to 50 across India by next year. Simultaneously, it has also announced training of 1,00,000 youth by 2030 in the hospitality industry. Speaking on the occasion, Gaurav Pokhariyal, Executive Vice President, Human Resource, IHCL, said, “Guided by our founder Jamsetji Tata’s vison, IHCL endeavours to drive policies and programmes that continue to build the bridges needed for a more humane and inclusive society. We are dedicated to addressing challenges to bridge the gap with the aim to create employability for the deserving and marginalised. The capability-building will allow for a much larger indirect impact through these partnerships, especially focussed on socially and economically backward communities and tribal groups.”
