As Choice Hotels International announces shutting down its wholly owned subsidiary in India, Mumbai-based Suba Group will be taking over Choice Hotels India as the master franchise. Currently, Choice Hotels India has a portfolio of 41 operational hotels. Its portfolio mix is classified for domestic business and leisure travel, with a presence in tier 2, 3, and 4 markets. In the last two years, Choice Hotels India expanded and opened new properties in Rishikesh, Dehradun, Manali as well as in lesser popular destinations of Kaikaluru, Pathankot, and Burhar.
